Passionate about intellectual property, Kris Keymolen worked for many years with major players in this field and headed the design and trademark department of an important Belgian Intellectual Property agency. After she had gained a wealth of experience, she decided to set up her own trademark and design agency. Keymarks was established in 2009 and its client portfolio has steadily grown since.

Kris Keymolen is active within the BMM and ECTA professional organisations. She graduated as a Master of Law at the K.U. Leuven and the University of Poitiers. She further specialised in intellectual property law at the C.E.I.P.I. department of the University of Strasbourg. She then joined leading trademark offices in France and, later, in Belgium. In 1995, Kris Keymolen passed the examinations required to become a BMM certified trademark attorney. In 2009, she set up her own trademark and design office. Kris Keymolen is also regularly called to serve as a legal expert in court.
